VHS to DVD

Last Christmas my dad bought my mom a VHS to DVD burner for our old family movies. Seeing as I’m moving out without a VHS player, I decided to burn all my old VHS tapes to DVDs as well. (I have a bunch of old kpop videos, anime, movies, etc. )

I became really excited because I was burning my favorite movie, Beat. :3 I got about 10 minutes in and all of the sudden it switched to something else that was recorded over it. This was my reaction..

Ended up having to buy the movie online…

Seeing as I’m moving out in a few days, it’s time to downsize! I’ve been holding onto this present since last Christmas for someone I bought it for… I never got the chance to see them, thus I never got to give it to them. I guess it’s better I didn’t give it to them in the end anyways. Today I decided to open it and I thought I’d share the goodies with everyone else. Perhaps that will make up for them never getting it.

I put candies in the bag to bring color to it… I ended up eating those today. :-[ NOM NOM NOM!

It’s a super soft micro-fiber blanket. I thought it was a good present for them as it was cold out at the time and they’re short, so this small blanket could cover them easily.

…And gloves for when they had to give up the blanket to go outside in the cold. Pimp purple, Just the way they like it!

Well I can use the blanket and I ate the chocolate… However, the gloves don’t fit me, so if anyone has small hands that needs some gloves let me know.

As of recently I’ve seen an increase in iphone and android phone users on my friends list. How nice it must be to have such an amazing phone! However, I’m on a contract for another half a year before I can upgrade my own phone. I felt a little left out, so instead of bitching I decided to do something about it! It’s time to Pimp my Phone!

New Monitors

I ended up buying two 24″ Samsung monitors to replace my 42″ TV monitor. I’ve been using dual screen at my work for the last three or so years and finally decided to do the same at home. Having two screens to put stuff on is more useful than some might think when it comes to graphic design.

P.S. That LACIE Lego Hard drive died a few days ago, but for some reason it automatically backed itself up on another hard drive. Very strange.
