This project has been featured on Kotaku and SuperPunch! AWESOME! 

About a month ago, my friend came to me with the idea of recreating another artist’s work. The project in question was by Chris Furniss and titled 31 Days of Zero Suit Samus. The idea was simple, take the original drawings and make them with real people. As of now, I have completed three images, and I’m working on another ten. I did a photoshoot with my friend who cosplayed as Zero Suit Samus. I’m still working on the set, but this is what I have done so far! :3

I decided to upload some behind the scene pictures of what we went through to look the way we did at Anime Vegas. :3

The Team

I’m heading to Vegas in a few days, with my brother, to join my friend for Anime Vegas. I’ll be going as Cloud Strife from FF7: Advent Children again, but perhaps in the future I’ll try out something new! This time around I got some special contacts for my outfit! However, seeing as I’ve never worn contacts before, this could go horribly wrong OR amazingly right(OR just meh, but that doesn’t sound as exciting). Wish me luck! Here are some shots of our team at Sac Anime 2011.

It probably looks something like this(I know that is a sexy looking thumb and that not everyone has one like it, so just focus on the card for comparison):

Hey Everyone,

I ended up going to my first cosplay event this last Friday and Saturday with my brother and some friends. We dressed up as characters from the film Advent Children, which takes place after the game Final Fantasy VII. It was actually a lot of fun and I ended up getting some awesome pictures from it! Here is one piece I just finished featuring my friend as Tifa Lockheart and myself as Cloud Strife. If you have a deviantart account, you can find it here.
