My friend has been asking me for a while to work together, and I decided now was our last chance (because it seriously is as I’m leaving in 2 days. lol) . The concept got a little out of hand, but overall I really like the outcome of this set. We shot at a playground in Reno, NV. I like to call it ‘Queen of the Playground’ but it also goes by the code-name ’Free Russell’. You can find higher quality versions of these images on my deviantart.

This project has been featured on Kotaku and SuperPunch! AWESOME!
About a month ago, my friend came to me with the idea of recreating another artist’s work. The project in question was by Chris Furniss and titled 31 Days of Zero Suit Samus. The idea was simple, take the original drawings and make them with real people. As of now, I have completed three images, and I’m working on another ten. Here are the results so far(Click any image to see the source):

I did a photoshoot with my friend who cosplayed as Zero Suit Samus. I’m still working on the set, but this is what I have done so far! :3
If you’d like to check out larger versions of these images, you can check out my Deviant Art account here. Don’t forget to check out my friend’s Deviant Art as well while you’re there!

This weekend I decided to get some photography practice, as it’s been a while. Also to prove to a friend I’m not a one trick pony that can only use Photoshop to create pictures! The truth is, I just prefer to do the extra work, as doing it all with the camera gets boring. >:3
That being said, I decided to use as little Photoshop as possible, so I just did some color correction in the CR2 editor and changed the CR2 files themselves to PSD files. Boom! Here we go:

I accomplished this look using my attachable flash and combining the natural sunlight with it.
P.S. The model is my brother
